CBU-103

CBU-103 (CB103): Standard CBU-87 cluster bomb fitted with an INS guidance kit to form a Wind Corrected Munition Dispenser (or “Wick Mid”). Unlike the GBU-31 and GBU-38 a WCMD does not use GPS guidance. Rather, the WCMD system uses the aircraft’s inertial navigation system to “know" its current location and the location of the target, and then use the tail kit to steer the bomb to the target location.
