1. Align Course Deviation Line with Course Pointer.

Η "κατεύθυνση" (heading) του αεροπλάνου σε σχέση με το Course Pointer πρέπει να είναι στην ίδια πλευρά με τη Deviation Line.

Push: Για να φθάσουμε στη σωστή radia αλλάζουμε "κατεύθυνση" (heading) προς τη μεριά της Deviation Line σε σχέση με του Course Pointer.

Αν το  Course Deviation είναι αριστερα του Course Pointer κατευθυνόμαστε αριστερά.

2. Όταν φθάνουμε σε alignment "στρίβουμε" (roll) προς τη μεριά του bearing pointer

Στρίβω έτσι ώστε να φέρω τo tail από το bearing (A/C) πίσω από το tail του Course Line

Steer the aircraft towards the TACAN CDI (Course Deviation Indicator) Reference Line As you approach the radial, the line deviation with the centerline of the EHSI will gradually diminish.

The direction of the TACAN beacon will be displayed by the Bearing Pointer.

Turn in the direction of bearing pointer (outer arrow) in relation with the aircraft symbol, until bearing pointer comes to 12 oclock.

If you remember that your location is always at the TAIL of the needle on the inner circle and the TACAN is the center of the HSI, this method will be pretty easy.
